What is Shaw Academy & what I’m enrolled In
Shaw Academy is an online academy, which offers a variety of different courses, that you are able to attend live or on demand. At the end of each lesson there is a live Q&A which allows you to ask anything you want to know about the lesson or the academy.
Shaw Academy is based in Dublin, Ireland and a round 100k apply ever year .Each course cost £395. The courses come with 3 free assignments, which come every week. You need to pay €19 for the final assignments which usually comes with the diploma.
I took part in the beauty course from 25th July 2016-17th August 2016. I was able to do this course free, as there was an offer which is still going on so if you want to try it out the link is below. I found the website through Magic Freebies which is a website where you can get loads of freebies this link is also listed below.
I am also enrolled on Social Media Marketing course, diploma in photography, and blogging & content marketing diploma.

Helpline?
Shaw Academy have a Q&A at the end of every lesson like I said earlier, where you are able to ask any questions. They usually get quite a lot of questions & queries so if they don’t get round to answering you, there is an email address, you can email. The teacher normally has their email also listed at the end of the lesson so if you want to contact them personally you can do so.I felt like the team were very supportive and were quite quick when answering any questions I had or replying to my email.
Did I learn anything? Was it easy?
I defiantly learned some new throughout the course, and even though i have only been interested in makeup, skin care and anything else beauty related the past couple of years. The course was fairly easy to follow, the assignments were really easy to do. Just remember to write things down as you go, which made things tens times easier, you’re also more likely to remember the tips if your write them down.
Was it explained well? What about the teacher?
They explained everything really well, and was laid out really nicely and professional. My teacher for this course was called Orlagh Nolan, she was really kind and kept each lesson professional, but didn’t make the lessons boring by being to serious. She also left her email so we could contact her when ever we wanted.
Diploma?
At the end of the course, you can get a diploma. Yes an actual diploma. You receive the diploma once you have completed the final assignment, which cost €19. Which isn’t to bad as I got mine free. I received a digital copy.
All together I really enjoyed my course, and found it very helpful. I’m also really excited for my other courses. This is my own opinion, I also wasn’t paid to write this or been sponsored.
